First real day of the 2024 Bead Hunt! Feels so good to be back in Ghana… Our first stop was the Bead Stalls in Agboblushie Market! We interrupted Adamu, a Bead Trader’s haircut because we were so interested in his fabulous beads! Where else would you be able to get a haircut at work??

Next we did the pilgrimage to Suntrade beads where my friend and guide, Dela was delighted to see a book his friend Max Milligan created, Ghana A Portrait. He was thrilled to show me under acknowledgements some words for Dela. “To .. Dela Fumador who trod every step beside me, your contributions lies on every page, Akpe! (Thanks)” …
