With the goal of making friends and raising funds to continue their important work, the Montreal SPCA is launching their first-ever gala event aptly named, “Beasts of Fashion”. As a fun, fashion-filled, dog-meets-runway evening, Beasts of Fashion will connect with Montrealers who love animals but also have a penchant for fashion. There will be a beastly fashion show where dogs will walk their models down the runway while introducing the latest fall and winter Montreal fashions. A silent auction will also be part of the festivities along with a few more surprises …..
This Funky Frog’s necklace will be in the silent auction!!
This Funky Frog necklace will be up for auction at this SPCA Fundraiser on Nov. 6, 2014 at the Corona Theatre 2490 Notre-Dame Ouest.
The SPCA has a long history (it was founded in 1869 and was the first animal welfare organization in Canada) of facilitating adoptions of all species, investigating thousands of cruelty reports every year and advocating for animals whenever it is required. The Montreal SPCA does not receive charitable income from the government instead relies on supporters who care about the welfare of animals.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to participate in an evening that combines Montreal fashion with Montreal compassion! Check it out here: http://www.betesdemode.com/
Funky Frog’s Silvia necklaces are always whimsical and fun. And it is the tassels that really adds to this whimsy. This necklace has 5 tassels making it very whimsical! There is also a beautiful Fimo bead in amongst its African bead cousins of which there are some beauties: a spindle clay bead from Mali, 5 batik bone beads from Kenya, my favourite; a tomato bead, several brass beads from Ghana, and quite a few old Trade Beads. This necklace is 19” long strung on beading wire with closures that are handmade by Earth Faerie of Toronto using recycled copper.
So join in with Funky Frog and check out this amazing event!
