Ok World, Koforidua Guest House is a pleasant suprise … actually reasonable and very clean and comfortable.. And the Staff is delightful! We tried to book me into a couple of much more expensive hotels but they were full … is Prince Charles in Koforidua? … and KGH was suppose to be second best but it will be my new first choice…
And another tidbit for other Intrepid Travelers – there is this new thing called Mobile Wifi … it is great! Internet connection has been a pain in the ass for all my other trips to Ghana but this new little gadget is awesome… ok have to ask Huawei to sponser my trip right??
Today was the Big Beads Market Day!! Koforidua is really the hub of Bead Traders … they come all the way from Kumasi and all over for the Thursday Bead Market… It is just Bead Heaven!! I met with the wonderful Traders Mohamed and his brother Hidir.. and many more … It is like hearing stories of Africa … these beads are from Nigeria, those from Mali.. Kenya.. Morroco .. Senegal..Cote d’Ivoire .. Burkina Faso .. Togo … and of course Ghana!! No wonder i love the African Beads so much … I got a real haul today, dear Beady Clients!!
