Polished Recycled Glass Beads

A strand of about 45 size 5 (14 mm) translucent grey Bodom Recycled Glass Beads on string 23″ long. These beads have been polished smooth and have a velvety feel and classy look. This colour: a soft smoky grey is very difficult to photograph. When held up to the light the grey has a watery look. Very beautiful.

These recycled beads were bought directly from the small factory in Accra, Ghana where the artisans hand make the beads in the labor intensive method of their ancestors from crushing glass to baking the final product in wood ovens.
