Mali ‘Silver’ Beads 27mm

A large  gorgeous Silver Coin Metal Mali  squashed Bicone Bead. The bead will be 27-29 mm x 20 -21 mm. These beads are handmade so will vary in size and shape. The bead you will receive will be similar to the one in the photo.  These beads were found in Koforidua Market in Ghana.

The Mali Coin Beads are said to be made of recycled old coins in Mali. Hence the name.  These beads have the solidity and heft of old coins. There is delicate engraving on each bead. These beads are getting harder to find especially ones of this quality. The Traders blame this on Mali’s difficulties.
