Kokofrom Closure #2

There is a small village, Kokofrom just outside Kumasi, Ghana where there are artisans who make lost wax brass beads in the same way as their ancestors. I asked them to make some closures for me. The whole look which is a bit rough and earthy goes perfectly with the African Beads.  The artisans use whatever scrap metal they can get their hands on form old taps to pipes to .. but they call it ‘brass’.

There are two sizes of these closures; small and large. This is the large closure. The hook is 23mm and the eye is 14mm.
