A strand of various Fancy African Recycled Glass Beads handcrafted in Ghana. The strand is about 13" long and the large Bodom bead is 21x28mm. These beads were bought in the Agormanya Market from the wonderful Bead section there... from the stall of the Queen of the market. She introduced these beads using old material to make heritage beads very much in the old style. There are two strands to choose from. There are slight variations in the strands but the strands are quite similar. But these are handmade so will vary in colour, size and shape. -

Desiree designs, glazes and fires the beads in her pottery studio. These colourful beads captured my heart and are amongst the few beads i don't actually go and buy (though it is definitely on my bucket list!) Funky Frog has over the years gathered quite a collection. With Desiree's blessing Funky Frog is offering some of these beads. This way i can destash a bit so i can buy more!!! Always more!! Twisted Design Rustic Copper Ring found in the Tamale Market in Ghana. The ring is about 19mm on the inside. The ring itself is quite fine about 2mm in diameter. A large translucent 30 mm Recycled Glass Bodom Bead in 5 beautiful colours. This jumbo bead needs a special project or simply a few Bodoms in a bowl is beautiful! Ghana is famous for these recycled glass beads which are still handmade using the ancient methods from crushing recycled glass to firing the beads in a woodburning oven. -
