These beads are gorgeous and very light weight. There are 3 sizes in this Olive Wood Bead. This is the medium size. The small beads are here. Beautiful Olive Wood Prayers Beads .... found in the Koforidua Market in Ghana, W.Africa. There are two shapes to choose from. The round wood beads comes in sets of 12 or 40 beads. The long beads come in sets of 12. These beads are gorgeous and very light weight. There are 3 sizes in this Olive Wood Bead. This is the largest size. Please note that these beads are made by hand out of recycled metal and will vary in shape and size within the strand. Funky Frog orders a lot from the Kokofrom Cooperative outside Kumasi. These tiny silver heishi or spacer beads were made especially for Funky Frog . The process these Metal Smiths are using is the same as their ancestors... back then it was gold now it is any metal they can get their hands on!!
