    A bracelet sized strand of about 50 disk shaped Recycled Glass Beads on string. Each bead is about 11x4 mm and are Blue handpainted with yellow and white dots. These recycled glass beads were purchased straight from the small factory which hand crafts them using the methods of their ancestors, from crushing recycled bottles all the way to firing them in a wood burning oven.

It is said purple symbolizes magic, mystery, spirituality, the sub-conscious, creativity, dignity, royalty – and it does evoke all of these meanings more so than any other color. Further variations of purple can convey different meanings. For instance light purples are light-hearted, floral, and romantic. The dark shades are more intellectual and dignified. This creature is believed to represent the cycle of life and death and that everything is connected. The Africans also believe that the catfish can help us let go of our material possessions and live in balance with nature. The catfish is also a symbol of strength, determination, and perseverance.
