Two strands are an assortment of small clay beads and three strands are the tiny clay beads. The beads range in colour from an off white to dark clay. These were bought directly from a Bead Trader in Ghana, W. Africa. -

Gorgeous large grey with white designs clay bead from Mali about 25 mm in diameter. The bead is dusted with a white powder that settles into the engraved design. You can brush off the excess powder with a soft cloth. If you actually wash the bead it will change the look quite a bit, the grey is quite dark and the white powder can wash away just staying in the designs. Fun addition to any earthy project! -
