These recycled beads were bought directly from the small factory, TK Beads in Accra, Ghana where the artisans hand make the beads in the labor intensive method of their ancestors from crushing glass to baking the final product in wood ovens. These beads are made by recycling previously used beads, Ghana's answer to Fimo Beads! The beads are melted together in a clay oven to make this beautiful mosaic of colors. Each coin shaped bead is approx. 11x22 mm. The beads are handcrafted so will vary in size and shape. You will receive one of the strands in the image.
