A beautiful grey with white Sun designs Clay Spindle bead from Mali. The beads are 28 mm in diameter. You will receive either a single bead or a strand as shown in the photos. The bead you will receive will be similar to the one in the photo. These beads were found in Koforidua Market in Ghana. The Mali Coin Beads are said to be made of recycled old coins in Mali. Hence the name. These beads have the solidity and heft of old coins. There is delicate engraving on each bead. These beads are getting harder to find especially ones of this quality. The Traders blame this on Mali's difficulties. -
Gorgeous large grey with white designs clay bead from Mali about 25 mm in diameter. The bead is dusted with a white powder that settles into the engraved design. You can brush off the excess powder with a soft cloth. If you actually wash the bead it will change the look quite a bit, the grey is quite dark and the white powder can wash away just staying in the designs. Fun addition to any earthy project! -
