Beautiful Lost Wax Brass Elephant Pendants.... handmade for Funky Frog by the Kokofrom guys in Kumasi. When you think of Africa you think of Elephants! "Elephants are highly intelligent animals with complex emotions, feelings, compassion and self-awareness (elephants are one of very few species to recognize themselves in a mirror!). The gestation period of an elephant is 22 months. That's almost 2 years, the longest pregnancy of any mammal! And they are the largest land animal on earth!" (Thanks, Google) These elephants have a quirky naive quality to them ... -

A strand of Silver Metal Spacer Beads handcrafted in Ghana by jewelry smiths strung on raffia 26" long. These beads were found in one of the largest markets of West Africa in Kumasi, Ghana. The beads are approx. 11x20 mm. -
