A Purple Recycled Glass Bodom bead with a white stripe in the middle. The bead is about 22 mm x 21 mm in diameter. Purple is a very complex colour. There are so many variations. It is said purple symbolizes magic, mystery, spirituality, the sub-conscious, creativity, dignity, royalty – and it does evoke all of these meanings more so than any other color. Further variations of purple can convey different meanings. For instance light purples are light-hearted, floral, and romantic. The dark shades are more intellectual and dignified. You either love purple or you don’t. It was the one colour most people asked for before the 2020 Bead Hunt!! -

These large beads will add a colourful flare to any project and mix well with all the other African Beads especially the Recycled Glass Beads. The beads are about 17 mm and strung on string. A bracelet sized strand of about 24 round opaque Robin's Egg Blue Recycled Glass Beads which are strung on string. The beads are about 11 mm. The beads are all handcrafted so will vary in colour, size and shape. The strand you will received will be similar to the photo but may have variations. Funky Frog has 4 sizes in this Robin's Egg Blue. This size and the smallest size are a softer Robin's Egg Blue than the bright Blue of the large and medium sized Beads. All are beautiful and a brand new colour for Recycled Glass Beads from Ghana. To check out the other Robin's Egg Blue Beads enter the SKU 71rg into the search engine in the main Bead Page. These recycled glass beads were handcrafted in Ghana, Africa by crushing old, discarded glass, adding colorant and then pouring the powder into clay molds. The stem of a local plant is added, this burns away during firing, leaving a hole for stringing. The beads are fired in a wood burning earthen oven.
