A bracelet sized strand of about 21 small tube Recycled Glass Beads on string. Each bead is about 6x10 mm and are Mustard Yellow with grey and black designs. These recycled glass beads were purchased straight from the small factory which hand crafts them using the methods of their ancestors, from crushing recycled bottles all the way to firing them in a wood burning oven. -

During a Bead Hunt Funky Frog made a big order from the Kokofrom Cooperative outside Kumasi. These bells were made especially for Funky Frog . The process these metal smiths are using is the same as their ancestors... back then it was gold now it is any metal they can get their hands on!! If you would like to see the intricate process check out the blog here ... These large brass bells are about 23 mm across. The bells make a lovely jingle. There are now four sizes of these bells, small, medium, large and Xtra large. These are the Xtra large sized. $6/bead -

A large bracelet sized strand of about 12 extra large hand painted Recycled Glass Beads which is strung on string. The beads are about 30x16 mm and are a white and red Sandcast Bead with a Handpainted orange design. The beads are all handcrafted so will vary in colour, size and shape. The strand you will received will be similar to the photo but may have variations in colours. These recycled glass beads were handcrafted in Ghana, Africa by crushing old, discarded glass, adding colorant and then pouring the powder into clay molds. The stem of a local plant is added, this burns away during firing, leaving a hole for stringing. The beads are fired in a wood burning earthen oven. The beads are then hand painted and then refired. A very delicate large dark Wooden Pendant with a smaller Pendant inside handmade in Togo, West Africa. I found these pendants in the amazing Suntrade Bead Store in Accra, W. Africa. The hole is at the thick end going side to side all the way through the two pendants. The large pendant is about 5 x 1 3/4" with the smaller inset pendant being about 3 1/2 x 1". $18/2 pendants -
