A strand of about 45 size 5 (14 mm) translucent green Bodom Recycled Glass Beads on string 23" long. These beads have been polished smooth and have a velvety feel and classy look. These recycled beads were bought directly from the small factory in Accra, Ghana where the artisans hand make the beads in the labor intensive method of their ancestors from crushing glass to baking the final product in wood ovens. A strand of about 51 polished Orange Recyled Glass Beads strung on string 23" long. These beads are size 4 or about 12 mm round. The beads are handmade so will vary in colour, size and shape within the strand. Tet, a Bead Maker in Accra with a very contempory leaning made these beads for Funky Frog. Usually Ghana's recycled beads are quite rough, Tet Beads was the first place Funky Frog found these polished glass beads. I found these beads in one of the largest beads markets, Koforidua Bead Market. Each bead is about 6 mm in diameter. The beads vary in size, shape and colour.
