A strand of about 39 pink Sandcast Recycled Glass Beads strung on string 23" long. The beads are around 15x10 mm. These recycled glass beads were handcrafted in Ghana, Africa by crushing old, discarded glass, adding colorant and then pouring the coloured powder into molds. The stem of a local plant is added, this burns away during firing, leaving a hole for stringing. The beads are fired in a woodburning earthen oven. Ghana is famous for this type of bead. These beads were designed and made by a Contemporary Bead Designer, TET located near Accra.

Gorgeous translucent blue with specks of white and amber swirled through. They are handmade so each bead is its own size, shape and colours. The beads are polished and feel velvety.
