A strand of Sandcast Recycled Glass Beads strung on raffia 32" long. The beads are around 2x7mm and a mix of light and dark yellow. These recycled glass beads were handcrafted in Ghana, Africa by crushing old, discarded glass, adding colorant and then pouring the powder into clay molds. The stem of a local plant is added, this burns away during firing, leaving a hole for stringing. The beads are fired in a wood burning earthen oven. Ghana is famous for this type of bead.

Yellow Recycled Glass Short Tube Spacers in two sizes. A bead designed and handmade by TET Beads, Accra, Ghana. These beads are hand made so will vary in colour, shape and size. The strand of Medium yellow short tube spacer Recycled Glass Beads are strung on string 26'' long. Each bead is about 5x7 mm. The strand of Small yellow short tube spacer Recycled Glass Beads are strung on string 25'' long. Each bead is about 4x5 mm.

A strand of opaque yellow Rondelle Recycled Glass beads on string 22" long. These recycled beads were bought directly from the small factory in Accra, Ghana where the artisans hand make the beads in the labor intensive method of their ancestors from crushing glass to baking the final product in wood ovens.

A strand of small yellow button-like Prosser Beads on raffia 30" long. Each bead is about 8 mm in diameter with the hole opening around .5 mm. These are great spacer beads. There are 4 strands - you will receive one similar to the strands in photo. Prosser beads are by extension any beads made by the 'Prosser' technique, invented by the Prosser brothers in 1840 in England for the purpose of making buttons. The process consists of molding a cold paste under great pressure and then firing it.

6 large, tubular Sunshine Yellow Recycled Glass beads with brown speckles and a smooth, polished satiny finish. The bead is about 26 mm x 16 mm. These beads are handmade so there will be differences in colour and size among the beads. These beads are made by an innovative Bead Designer named Tet. The beads are all handcrafted so will vary in colour, size and shape. The strand you will received will be similar to the photo but may have variations in colours. A gorgeous strand of about 145 colourful mini Mali Wedding Beads in a variety of colours, yellow, sky blue, white, reddish brown and green with white or black swirls .. the strand is approximately 26" long and the little beads are about 14 mm.
