About 72 Contemporary Red Glass Chevron Beads were probably made in India and traded in Ghana W. Africa. Found some of these in the largest Bead Market in W. Africa and since they are very popular decided to get more in more colours and shapes! Each bead is about 7x10 mm in an oblong shape. The beads vary in size, shape and colour. You will receive a strand similar to the one in the image. -
6 soft white Recycled Glass beads. The beads have a smooth polished finish and are about 9 x 20 tubular shape. These beads are handmade so will vary in size, colour and shape. These beads are designed by an innovative designer (seen adding up my beads in photo!) who has a cottage industry making beads by hand just outside Accra. A strand of 24 fused Red, White + Yellow Recycled Glass Beads in the shape of a large tulip. These translucent beads are about 25x15 mm. These beads are handmade so will vary in size and shape and even colour. These recycled glass beads were purchased straight from the small factory which hand crafts them using the methods of their ancestors, from crushing recycled bottles all the way to firing them in a wood burning oven. -

These beads are handmade so will vary in size, colour and shape. They make a fantastic necklace as is or restrung. Funky Frog got these in the last Bead Hunt from the Bead Makers themselves in Accra, Ghana. -

Photos don't do these beads justice as they are translucent so it seems somehow the camera can't quite catch them! They are handmade so colour, size and shape vary. These recycled glass beads were purchased straight from the small factory which hand crafts them using the methods of their ancestors, from crushing recycled bottles all the way to firing them in a wood burning oven. These small beads are the hardest to make as the smaller the bead is the easier it is to break during the process of making them. -
